Hi, I'm Kael.

I'm a professional triathlete who's raced everything from draft legal to Ironman branded events. I know what it takes to train smart, stay consistent, and show up on race day, both mentally and physically.

I started coaching because I love helping people find what they're capable of, whether that's finishing their first tri or qualifying for Kona. Training is hard enough. Having the right plan shouldn't be.

Everything you're wondering before you book the call.

Do I need to have done a triathlon before? +

Not at all. Some of the most rewarding athletes to coach are people who've never crossed a finish line. If you can swim, bike, and run (even a little), we can build from there. The first call is just about figuring out where you're at and where you want to go.

Do I need a TrainingPeaks account? +

Yes — TrainingPeaks is the platform I use to deliver workouts, review your data, and communicate about training. A free account works to get started, though a premium account unlocks more features. I'll walk you through the setup on our first call.

What if I travel a lot or have an unpredictable schedule? +

That's exactly what 1:1 coaching is built for. Your plan is rebuilt every week based on your actual life — travel, long days at work, missed sessions, whatever comes up. Just let me know and we adapt. No rigid 16-week PDF that ignores reality.

Do you only coach triathletes, or also runners and cyclists? +

Mostly triathletes, but I've also coached standalone runners (including a marathoner who dropped 17 minutes off her time). If your goals make sense with the way I coach, we can make it work. Reach out and we'll figure it out on the call.

How many athletes do you coach at once? +

I keep the roster intentionally small so every athlete gets real attention. When I say unlimited messaging, I mean it — and I can only keep that promise if the roster stays manageable. Spots fill up around race season, so if you're interested, sooner is better.

Can I cancel anytime? +

Yes. No contracts, no lock-in, no awkward cancellation calls. Month-to-month. If it's not working, you can stop. I'd rather earn your continued training than lock you into something.
